Off The East Coast of Norfolk, Humberside Fire Crew Had Been Flown Out to Rescue the Unfortunate Vessel

The spokesman of the fire department said that as soon
as they received the mayday message, the immediately dispatched a team of six
highly experienced firefighters who were flown out to the incident scene.

Giving further details he added that “they set off at
6.43am this morning and headed for the helicopter base at Humberside
Airport, at
8.15am, smoke was appearing from the vessel and the captain was in touch with
us to say there is heavy smoke logging in the compartments. As of 9.20am, the
team was airborne en route to the vessel.”
A tweet from deputy chief fire office at Humberside
Fire and Rescue, Chris Blacksell, stated that “Officers in Control assisting
and further @HumbersideFire firefighters going on standby to fly out to support
1st team.”

It is also said that two coastguard helicopters, two
other ships and a lifeboat are there on the scene to help the victims and
according to a UK Coastguard spokesperson the crew of the ship is still
on-board and keeping the fire under control. But if the need of evacuating the
ship arises, they have a lifeboat and a rescue helicopter hovering above as
